Tracking Sales people

We have a small call center, each sales person calls leads, and those that request additional info need to be tracked as a contact and somehow noted as to who their sales person was, further upon receipt of additional info they are further transfered to a senior associate and that needs to be noted or tracked for that persons performance. I do not have a assigned feature in opportunities act 2006 premium

If when you make the sales calls you do a record history this will record in history the lead tracking and then you could simply change the record manager of the opportunity when the senior associate takes over and you can then see the progress from there
