Hi, I have a setup with 3 computers. 2 of the computer connect to a database on the 3rd 'server' computer. On one of the 'client' computers, when you initially launch Act! it doesn't open the database from the 'server', it times out and you get the message about firewalls or network connections. However if you just click ok and then Open, you can open the PAD file which points to the 'server' and everything works fine.
Why would it not re-open on lauching the app and timeout again first before you can reconnect?
