If, for instance, I do Lookup/Company, that drop down list of companies includes ones that have long been deleted as actual records.
Is there a way, automatically or manually, that I can clear out the one that have built up over the years that aren't actually linked to actual records

Hello RobFJ,
Unfortunately there is not a method to clean up the Most Recently Used (MRU) lists in lookups from within the program. This would have to be done by manually deleting the relevant files. Please KB Article 14639 for instructions.

I am not sure what version of Act! you are using, but in 2010, only the last 5 lookup values are retained in the list...
