Hello, I installed ACT! 2010 about 6 months ago. Everything was great until it would not let me save groups or new contacts. When I try to save a new contact act! Says "This contact no longer exists in data base".
When I try to do a new group it says "act! Failed to save the current group, would you like to reload group?" then it deletes all the info I put in.

Here is an article with 2 sets of steps for resolving this issue. Unless you have been modifying your fields and field lengths, I recommend using the second step first: Perform Database Repair and Rebuild Procedures: Contact No Longer Exists

Try running the Tools > Database Maintenance > Check and Repair option.
This issue is generally database specific. To help determine that it is or isn't database specific, open the Act Demo database and test with it.

Have this issue with ACT! 2011...looking for solution

Having the same issue here. Phone feild seems to be the culprit. Since it is a phone feild i can not change the database feild lenghts. Found work around but not a really viable
