I'm just started getting this message when I try to open my database.
The database "database name" could not be accessed. In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available. It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your computer or the server.
This database exists in the ACT Data > Databases folder in My Documents. I have another Act database that I created in the same folder that does open. When I try to import the "unnaccessible" database I get the "Failed to open a connection to the database" error.
I had this problem before and tech support helped fix it by removing a file (registry file maybe) but now Sage wants money to help.
Does anyone know what the fix is???
