I have just taken over a new company that have ACT 2007 (v9). The database is on a 2003 Domain and can be accesses fine on the server. It cannot be accessed by any of the clients (local LAN).
I have gone through all the suggestions previously posted (permissions on folders, changing hostname to IP etc etc) but still keep getting the same message.
There is no firewall on and even logged in as Administrator i cannot access it over the LAN.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, Have tried all of these and still doesnt work. Can access it fine on the server and from he client machine can access all resources on that server (domain env) but always gives the network error.
