We’re pleased to announce the availability of Act! 16.3 Update 1.
This update will be available on our act.com Resources Download page, and through the Act! Update service. This update makes improvements to the customer experience while not changing the database schema version. Coordination of client updates is not required.
Update 16.3.1 contains the following bug fixes:
Documents tab causes Act! v16 to close when .net 4.6 is installed
This defect is introduced with the roll-out of Microsoft's update 4.6.2 of .net that introduces a defect in fetching file icons from the operating system. Our workaround removes this convenience and the customer will no longer see an icon column in Document Tabs.

While the customer can navigate to the Help menu and choose Act! Update to begin the update install process, the updates can also be obtained at the links below:

Act! Administrators are advised to read the section below named “Update will open KB article” as this information applies to private and shared database owners.
