I get this error whenever I change the password for a user in my database. To resolve it I remove then reattach the database in the outlook address book. I used this article below.

This is a brand new db, and this is a brand new install.
I have the DB on a server running on a VM. the user is just connecting to it.
I have checked network settings to ensure they dont turn off when the computer goes to sleep.
Very frustrating for a brand new install to get errors like this.

on the server, outlook is not installed. the user on the server is not the same user experiencing the issue. the user on the server is "admin" and the user experiencing the issue is "jay"
i did some customizations to the forms under the username "admin" on my local workstation.

2 things if you have not tried them.
Run the ACT Outlook wizard and remove the database linked. Now add it back in.
In Outlook make sure the ACT address book can be seen in address books. If not there then add it.
