Telesales Executive - tracking / reporting their activity (calls made, notes updated etc)

Hi there

 

We have ACT 2008

 

We are about to hire a telesales exec but we need to monitor thier activity.

 

We want them to make e.g X new calls per day

We want them to make X follow up calls per day

We want them to set e.g 2 appointments per week etc.

 

What is the best way to track this type of activity on a weekly basis?

 

What does the telesales executive need to update on the contact record for management to be able to generate an accurate report ?

By recording history as calls are made (or clearing activities) you can form the basis of your reports.

What about the reporting aspect of it, what is the "best practice" for tracking telesales executives ?

Anyone got any pointers ?

 

What should i be looking for on the report, how do i generate the report
