Tasks in ACT! / Outlook

In Outlook I can create tasks.

In ACT! I can create tasks.

The ACT! tasks are associated with calendar actions - When I export them into Outlook, they go into Calendar entries.

Can I create general non-calendar specific tasks in ACT! and have them synch into Outlook's "tasks" section (not the Outlook Calendar)?

Re: Tasks in ACT! / Outlook

The difference between a task in ACT! and a task in Outlook, is that an ACT! task (To-Do) is an activity like every other calendar-related item (such as calls, meeting' etc.), whereas an Outlook task is a completely different function in Outlook (they don't even appear on the Outlook calendar).  It's more like a To-Do list. So really ACT! has no way to send information to the Task List in Outlook, since it is not a calendar item or an activity that ACT! can relate to.

If you use Doublelook to keep outlook and ACT sync'd you can map things like ACT to-dos to the outlook task list

Does your answer also mean that Outlook Tasks do NOT/can NOT sync to ACT!
