Hi

We've had someone leave our company who has a lot of activities set.

Is there a way I can change who the tasks are for in bulk?

We're on Act! Pro Version 18.1.103.0, Update 3

Hi Andy,

Yes you can. The following process describes how to do this:

1. Login as the user you wish to reassign the activities to
2. Perform a lookup, or filter the task list to the activities you wish to reassign to the user
3. Select all
4. Edit > Copy (CTRL + C)
5. Edit > Paste (CTRL + V)
   
   You now have a copy of each of the activities originally scheduled by the old user, with the Scheduled For and Scheduled By now set as the new user. The next steps will delete the original versions of the activities originally scheduled for the old user.
   
   
6. Perform a lookup, or filter the task list to the activities originally scheduled for the old user that you have reassigned
7. Delete these activities

You can ensure you have done the process correctly by clearing any task list filers, and ensuring all users are selected, then checking the All Dates list total at the very bottom. This should be the same before and after the process.

I would suggest taking a backup of your database before attempting this.
