Hello.
I`ve a question about "system fields" in ACT. I`m using ACT 2010 with SP1.
Exploring Demo DataBase I`ve found few useful fileds on "Contact" Tabs, like:
Last Edited
Last Reach
Last Years Purchases
etc.
Creating my own new Data Base, I can not use this fields, because they are not in Tools/Define Fields Menu.
How can I use these fields on my own DataBase ? Can I copy somehow them from Demo DataBase ?

Since these are system fields, you will not see them listed in the Tools > Define Fields screen, but they are still available to add to your Layout through the Tools > Design Layouts > Contact option.

When a field does not display in the Layout Designer list, that means the field is already on the layout.

Hello Greg.
Unfortunately I can not see Last Year Purchase.
Using Demo DataBase I can see field Last Year Purchase in two places:
- Tools/Define Fields/Contacts
- Tools/Design Layouts/Contacts
Also I can see other system fields which are not in my Database like Customer ID for example.
How can I have access to these system fields, they are in Demo but in my database are not.
Please advice,

The Demo database has some useful fields that were added to serve as an example of how you might customize your database.
I double-checked, and these appear to be the added fields:
The intent probably was to show each type of field that can be added and a typical use. You can add such fields to your own database by going to Tools, Define Fields. Article 15331 in the ACT! Knowledgebase is a good reference on how to add fields.

Hello.
Thanks for your ansewer. However I can not see any of these system fields. It is possible that something is wrong with by database ?
I`ve migrated from ACT 2009 to 2010 but there was no error messages during this process.
As a user I`ve administrator rights - any idea what can be wrong ?

Thanks, but still I can not see them when I`m editing any layout (Contact, Group, Company, Opportunity)
It is possible they are hidden somehow ?

It is really strange.
They are not there. I`ve double checked as you adviced.
All system fields are in Demo database but when I`ve created a new one - they are not.
My version of ACT is following:
ACT! by Sage 2010 Version 12.1.181.0, Hot Fix 1
English (United States)
Maybe I need to install some fix ?
