Syncing ACT Pro 2013 with Outlook 2010

I am currently using ACT Pro 2013. I deleted a contact from my ACT Database and did a sync to Outlook 2010. However, the deleted contact in ACT is not removed in OutLook after the sync. Can you assist?

Thank you for getting back to me. Are you 100% certain? Seems odd given that is usually the purpose of syncing the database.

The knowledge base says:
Note: If a contact is deleted from the database while a contact sync with Outlook is in progress, that contact will not be removed from the Outlook contacts directory.

Can also happen if Outlook as accessing the contact

The sync can be a bit weird - especially if the sync'ing Outlook to something else (eg Exchange or a mobile device)
