My company has paid Act ! Hotline assistance for one year and, in spite of many phone calls and emails, synchronisation still doesen't work with Outlook (contacts and diary). Misleading advertising ! Laurent Manuel

There is a very long list of known issues with Outlook and ACT sync.
It's a painful experience and *everybody* goes through it, as Outlook is the tool used by 99% of the people that purchase ACT

Honestly, I don't.
I have surveyed many solutions and ACT still is the best one.
From Sage's point of view, ACT should be used from scratch, building a new contact database little by little (a very unreasonable thing).
I actually had the Sage responsible on our premises a while back and he had the courage to ask "why would you want to sync Outlook with ACT?". Ridiculous.
My suggestion is to just get one of the third-party apps to fix this, we had to do this for a similar stupid problem (see this lovely conversation.)
