Sync and Remote Database

My setup consists of 2 computers in a home network, one computer is the master computer and the other computer being the remote.  Both have ACT! by Sage 2010 Version 12.0.409.0, Hotfix 3 installed and are properly synched.  I am able to synchronize from the remote to the master computer and receive new/updated data.

However, my problem is that I am not able to make changes on the database (contact information primarily) from the remote computer and send it to the master computer for review.  Is this just a limitation of the version of ACT that I am using or is there something else going on?

If you are saying database structure changes this is correct any changes to the database structure needs to be done on the master database and then synchronised out to the remotes.
