Sync Server Error

ACT! by Sage 2007 (9.0) Version 9.0.1.162, Hotfix 1,

When attempting to sync with main database, the remote database gives this error:

 

"Server Error Description.  Remote Database information is unavailable.  Please check if the remote database was deleted.  Contact administrator for assistance."

 

Two puters.  One office.  One network.  Each puter sees the other.  Whats up? :/

lotsa,

 

It sounds like a) Master database is not open and Accept incoming synchs ticked

b) Firewall blocking - Turn off the firewall from within Services.msc

c) Antivirus software blacking - turn off Antivirus

 

You need to identify which one is blacking and then make adjustments so you could turn off one at a time and once it works then go into each and find out how you can exclude the ACT component from being stopped
