Switching from single user to multi-user

My company had a single user version of ACT! 2007. We entered all 1,000 of our records into this database with all the records assigned to that single user. We have bought a multi-user Premium version of ACT! 2007 for Workgroups. We have created a field within the database listing all the sales people's names. We have also added them as users of the database. How to we transfer the records assigned initially to the single user to the correct salesperson in the multi-user version? Thanks for your help with this.

Do a lookup of that new field you added to establish a list of the contacts for a particular saleperson. IE Lookup|Salesperson

 

Now click Edit|Replace Field  and selct to replace contents of Record Manager with the appropriate User.
