Weird behaviour in Act 2009. Same version running on server and local machine Act 2009 with hot fix 1 I finally got round to updating the field ID/Status on the server to allow multi select
I synched (2 or 3 times!) and observe the following!
Same layout being used on both server and client. Drop down box in the field on the layout on the server correctly shows the boxes to the left of each entry in the drop down On the client machine the drop down boxes are not there! I tried removing the ID/Status and readding it but no joy I created a separate NEW multi select field and added this to the layout and this works correctly with check boxes on both the server and the client machine
So it seems the issue is in converting/upgrading the ID Status field to allow multi select. The server behaves as you'd expect but all client machines only show a standard list of entries with no multi select
The initial synch DID warn it was going to do database changes, and using actdiag running a detail report on the fields on both server and client machine show exactly the same details for this field.
Is this a bug?
