Spacing on hard returns using Outlook for e-mail

When I set up a template in ACT and put my name, address, etc. on the bottom using a hard return for each line, I get a space between each of these lines in the outgoing e-mail in outlook.  For example< I set up atemplate to say

**bleep** Smith
ABC Company
123 Any Street
Anytown, US 33331

When I write an e-mai lfrom the template, it appears like this:

**bleep** Smith

ABC Company

123 Any Street

Anytown, USA 33331

Does anyone know why it does this?

Re: Spacing on hard returns using Outlook for e-mail

If you are using ACT! 2007 (9.0), make sure you have updated to 9.01 as per - http://tinyurl.com/2d9v8o

Also make sure in Outlook Tools menu, Options., Mail Form tab, you've selected HTML and turn off the function to use Word

You should also reformat the text style to resolve this issue. Follow the steps below to reformat your text style:
    1. While in the new email message, click the Edit menu, then click Select All (or manually select only the text you would like to reformat)
    2. Click the Format menu and point to Style.
    3. Click Normal from the shortcut menu.
