Social Media Update in 2013

Really like the social media update BUT...

After (laboriously) attaching quite a few contacts to their respective social media account (LinkedIn in this case) there appears to be no way to get an overall picture of activity without visiting each contact in turn. So in a database of over 1600 contacts you have to try and remember which have the link in place then take a look to see if they have added anything to their social media.

Seems a real waste as quite quickly you realise it simply is not worth the bother.

Any suggestions to make the feature sing a bit more?

Hello Chris,

Due to the changes that the social sites keep making to their API terms and conditions, as well as the restrictions imposed by the member-controlled privacy options, the Social Updates tab in its current form is not very practical. The tab is being redone in ACT! 2013 Service Pack 1 using a different interface that similar to the current Web Info tab.The SP is currently targeted for an early January release.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
