I am using Act Act! Pro Version 22.214.171.124 on a windows 7 machine and I am having trouble with a smart task that should schedule an activity at a specific time when condtions are met. Despite the fact that the conditions I have defined are met the smart task will not be triggered in Auot-run. Only when I run the task manually it will do what it has been told namely scheduling a to-do for the selected contacts. I have switched auto-run on and off several times. re-started Act several times but the task will not run automatically. Several other smart task do run automatically although these tasks do not involve scheduling an activity.

This could be a few different things:
I would reccomed giving your partner a call to enquire about support for this issue as due to the complexity of smart tasks, it could take a long time to troubleshoot over the community.

I fear none of your suggestions helps. I do have the right to create smart tasks as I am the only user and I have made other smart tasks that run without problem . The smart task contains only 2 steps:
1: select contacts with a query
2: schedule activity for selected contacts
and the ' Automatically schedule activity....' box has been ticked.
I will revert to my partner to see if he can solve this issue.
