Single user not sure what to do about upgrade from Act 2013?

I am a single user with Act Pro 2013.  Received an email about upgrading but dont' want to pay a per month cost.

 

I only use Act for entering notes on my various customers and then scheduling future dates to call them as reminders.  That's all.

 

Is there something else besides Act more basic that would allow me to do this?  I can't find anything.

Hi, I would recommend that you just purchase a single license of Act v17 Pro.  You can get it for a great price.  You will have to purchase it directly from an Act consultant or from a retail outlet as Swiftpage does not sell it directly.

Is this a one time purchase?  If so, can I access from the cloud or does it have to be installed on a computer?

That would be a one time purchase but no, it would not be in the clouds unless you had a means of hosting it yourself.  If you don't have the infrastructure to support hosting you'll need to move to a cloud subscription - and that will be an annual fee.
