When using a prerecorded custom.iss as part of a silent install I've created an si.txt and placed it in actwg\si. The only thing in the file is "sn=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" where xxxx is replaced with our valid serial number. I've made sure that this number has been registered and activated once successfully. However, although the silent install works Act is not activated, if I use the activation wizard and copy and past the number from the si.txt then it activates ok. I've checked that the PC can telnet to license.ntitles.net 443 successfully. The si.txt was copied (as part of the silent install) to c:\program files\act\act for windows. The si.txt file was in place before I recorded the custom.iss. I'm logged in to Windows 7 32 as local admin with UAC turned off.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm in the UK using UK regional settings.
