I've just had to reload a couple of PCs and created a new database on one of them and imported from and a text delimetered file all my contacts, shared the database and made sure that the PCs could see each other fine. My problem is that when I try to open the database on the other networked PC it comes up with that annoying message saying I have'nt got permission and to disable all firewall etc. I've tried this and still no luck. Tried directly sharing the folder with the .Pad file in and still no luck.
I've had a look at the KB file but don't seem to be able to run ACTDIAG - is this only available in later versions?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

For ACT! 2005, you need to type act7diag to access the ACT! Diagnostics.
Sounds like you're following a KB article for ACT! 2007 (9.0) and above. Follow the KB article below instead.
