Sharing DB - do all users have to be on the same version of ACT

I am planning to host a DB and sync it through VPN. I am using ACT Pro 2012 and I will need to buy a new license for each user. Do I have to upgrae my version to the latest?

You should still be able to purchase licenses for 2012 (you can in the UK) , but if you only have a single user license and are planning to buy new ones it would probably be best to go for v16 and then at least it is compatible with newer operating systems and Office 2013.

You need to have all the machines using the same version of ACT! as your version ACT Pro 2012 if you don't upgrade with the same Service packs and patches if you have applied any.
