Setting Up Tabs

I'm trying to set up my own custom tabs, but I'm having the most trouble. I need to set up a tab with multiple columns, where I can sort by each column. Obviously, a title of the column, and then fields beneath them where I can enter data, and then the ability to sort the data by clicking on the title of the column.

I see this in the default columns for ACT, but cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to do it myself.

Thanks for any and all help.

Re: Setting Up Tabs

You can't do that with the version you have. What you want to do requires adding a custom table to the database. You can do that with version 10.0.2.  You can either do the SDK programming to add the table yourself or buy an addon that automates the process.

Re: Setting Up Tabs

So can I do it in this version with the add on or SDK? Is it an automatic feature in 10.0.2 or do the add ons only work in 10.0.2?

Thanks.

Re: Setting Up Tabs

They only work on 10.0.2 because the capability was not added to the ACT! program until then.
