When using the search function to find people in my data base I am usually looking for a Last Name. I would like to know how to set the search for Last Name only...and not have to reset it each time I use it. My search always starts with Company and I end up wasting time scrolling down to Last Name. Thanks.

HI...I appreciate your quick response. But I have ACT Pro and it gives me a toolbar with; new, meeting, call, etc, and search.
When I hit search a lookup box appears with: field - composed of three variable entries. I want to set the first entry to Last Name permanently...
It always shows Company and I have to scroll down to Last Name...irritating...
Let me know if you have an answer on this.

Yeah...it doesnt work. This weirds me out a little. Seems like the programming is a little ridgid. Has anyone else ever mentioned this issue? So who do I call now?
