Setting Preferences

I have avoided using this version for almost a year because I cannot get my preferences to set.  I want to schedule calls every 5 minutes but no matter what I do -- It goes back to an hour increment for everything.   I have been using ACT! for almost 10 years and not a problem till this version.   After loading mine and seeing this problem, we left all our other computers at 6.0.  Has anyone had this problem or can anyone give me any idea how to fix it?  We are beginning a major sales blitz and I NEED this version to work.  I would appreciate ANY help.  Thanks in Advance.  Michele

My guess is that you are scheduling by double clicking on a time on the calendar. That will set the time duration as the time increments on the calendar. If you right click and select the type of activity to schedule, it uses the default time you have set in preferences.
