Set History Preferences for ID/Status Field in ACT! 2010?

I've been doing quite a bit of record maintenance and in my contact history (ACT! 2010), I have all these entries for every time I changed the ID/Status Field. I'd like to disable this or at least know if it's possible.

 

Is there a way to disable history recording for the ID/Status field? I couldn't figure it out, searched here in the Forums, and couldn't find an answer.

Go to Tools > Define Fields > select the Field and Edit.

 

Remove the check box for generate history.
