Service Pack vs.. Hotfix

I currently have ACT! by Sage 2009 (11.0) Version 11.1.183.0, Hotfix 1. Database resides on a Windows 2003 Server with 4 networked XP Pro computers and 2 remote laptops that synch remotely. All computers are running the same version of Act.

Do I load service pack 1 and then hotfix 4, or what should I do?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Service Pack vs.. Hotfix

Yes, you would load the 11.1 update first, then hot fix 4. HF4 will only apply to 11.1. A new build has more extensive updates than a hotfix, which is usually done to quickly address a small handful of issues.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
