Secondary Contacts Department

ACT Ver 2010

I just noticed that when adding a secondary contact that there is no Dpeartment field.  Is there a way to add that field especially so that if it were to be converted to a contact that the field would also transfer?

Re: Secondary Contacts Department

Regrettably, Secondary Contact fields are hard-coded and not customisable.

Possible workaround...

Do you commonly use the 'Ext' field for phone number extensions? If not, you'll find that this accepts alpha-numeric input so you could type the Department in here and (on promoting to full Contact) copy the contents of 'Ext' into the Department field.
