My scan for duplicates is reporting no duplicate contacts when there are many (several hundred I believe, arising from a sync with Google contacts). Working with a very talented gentleman on this board, we have determined that the problem is not directly with Act, but that an error in the 2500 record database is causing the issue.
Using Actdiag 15.1, I have applied all available rebuilds and repairs. They didn't help. The gentleman suggested I should submit the database to Act for repair.
But before I take that drastic (and costly) action, I hope that some genius who understands Act well enough to identify what's wrong. About the only additional information I have is that when I go to Preferences/Admin//Disable Dup checking, I get some sort of Schema error.
Does anybody out there in Community Land understand the duplicate scan process to guess what might be the problem?
Any help would be most appreciated.
