Saving files as attachments

I'm using ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) Version, and for the past month or so, I have been unable to save attachments when I insert a Note to a Contact.  I always get the message:  "Error - Note changes could not be saved. One or more of the Contacts or Associations may have been deleted, or this note may have been deleted."  We were doing fine when we first started using ACT, but now something has caused this to happen.  Any ideas?

Try running database maintenance from actdiag.
