Save Outlook Contact

[ Edited ]

I tried to save an Outlook contact, but it saved it to a different address book even though I SAVED the contact from what I thought was the "Mail View" in Outlook.

Why doesn't it save(the e-mail address) to the correct addressbook?

Thanks!

Re: Save Outlook Contact

Are you talking about saving an ACT! contact to Outlook?

If not, what are you trying to do?

What steps are you taking?

What version of ACT! (the full build from Help | About)?

What version of Outlook?

Re: Save Outlook Contact

Thanks Mike,

Actually NO.  I am creating a contact in Outlook, saving it WITH an e-mail address because I know you need an e-mail address FROM ACT! to OUTLOOK to make it ADD to the Outlook AddressBook.  Yet, I am perplexed as to why it's not bi-directional. At least the e-mail and name.

I am using ACT 11.0 and Outlook 2003.

The steps I am taking is simply creating a contact and e-mail address in Outlook.

Why does it go to a different addressbook even though I have ACT! addressbook as the first addressbook?

Thanks for asking!

Re: Save Outlook Contact

Outlook can't save to ACT! that way... you can select an email from (or to) a contact and create a contact.
