Sage Act Pro 2011- integration link with Sage 50 Accounts

[ Edited ]

Hi

Running Sage Act Pro 2011 Version 13.1.111.0. Hotfix 6

Upgrading my Sage Accounts 50 from 2008 to 2012

Cannot find any refernce to ACT link in 2012 version- do I remove the old link from ACT to 2008 version, and do I have to install a new link to the 2012 account version or is it integrated?

Any help gratefully received please.

Hi Redmolloy,

The accounting integration in ACT! 2011 is built into the software. Before setting this up with Sage 50 Accounts 2012, you will need to download and install the Sage ACT! 2010.2/2011.1 Integration Update for Accounts 2012. This is available directly from the link below: -

http://support.sage.co.uk/default.aspx?page=22&did=d4b2d46c-f83a-481e-8660-6610b1ca72ad

Once this update is applied, you can complete the setup within ACT! by selecting Tools > Accounting Integration Setup. The support article below will guide you through this: -

Please note that the setup process will ask you to remove any previously installed accounting link drivers, but will convert any existing links between records.

Another point to make is that the previous ACT! Link Driver for Sage Accounts will still work for these versions. This integration driver was installed separately, and will display a Sage Accounting Program menu within ACT!. This offers slightly less functionality over the built-in integration.
