I intalled act into a new laptop and registered over the phone. I was given a new customer ID. I went back to my old laptop and moved the database to my new one. It doesn't open. I tried opening it in my old laptop and it doesnt open as well. Was i locked out some way. Help?

If you can get the old db opened, create a backup to include attachments.
Then use that Zip file to load into the new computer. You will use | File | Restore | Restore As ....
If nothing changed on the old system, then it should continue. Did you remove any files?
