We have a client who would like to set up Outlook Rules to automatically record inbound emails in the normal way.
(It's a Windows 7 Pro desktop PC with Outlook 2007 and Sage ACT! Premium 2012 14.1.)
Nothing particularly unusual there, except that the mailserver at the back end is Kerio (and not MS Exchange).
The short and tall of it is that the Outlook Rules don't function (in fact they arent even available).
I did find a statement on a Kerio Knowledgbase that said:
After installation of the Kerio Outlook Connector, it will not be possible to use the standard MS Outlook's dialog for administration of rules for incoming mail and alerts Rules and alerts (under Tools → Rules and alerts).
I may well have answered my own question here, but I wondered whether it were at all possible.
i.e. has anybody experienced this problem and discovered/developed a workaround or alternative solution?
