I have a new user to ACT! 2012 Pro SP1. ACT was installed on his computer but he was never intergrated with the main database, as he had never used ACT! before and is on the road most of the time. He reported that he wasn't able to use ACT just today. When I went to open the main database, the computer hung after logging in for up to 10 minutes. I checked his settings compared to mine and other users and saw no differences. After several runs through trying to log in, I was finally able to get him to log in almost instantaneously. Any thoughts as to why this happened? I'll admit I am relatively new to ACT myself.

The initial (default) screen loaded is the Welcome screen, this particular screen has web links. We have seen this screen hang when access to the internet is interrupted or blocked by a firewall.
