New here. We use ACT at our facility and I've come across a lot of duplicate entries. For example, someone entered a Jim Smith under ACME Inc. and the same exact info but with the name James Smith. Users here are arbitrarily attaching activities, emails, etc. to either one at random and it's driving me nuts! I want to sort of merge all the data from one contact to the other and then delete one of them - but I don't see how to do that. Is this doable with my version of ACT!?
Thanks for any help.

In ACT under TOols, there area couple of commands 1) Copy/move data will alloow you so select certain parts of the records to be merged.
Tools, Scan for Duplicates will let you find duplicates and merge them However, there is no "batch" mode for this.
If you need a batch mode (the ability to do many at once. take a look at this add in from Egen Consulting -
