SQL problems

I moved database from one computer to another, after saving from 2011 Premium to 2011 pro. This is the message I get "The database could not be accessed. in order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available. It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your computer or the server."

i disabled the windows firewall, no luck. please help. Thanks.

Re: SQL problems

have you shared the database.  Sounds like it can't find the supplement folders.  Tools - database maintenance - share database.

Re: SQL problems

When working with data sets I get this message "Unable to insert sync set subscription. Setuser failed because of one of the follwing reasons: the database principal 'ACTSYNC' does not exist, its corresponding server principal does not have server access, this type of database principal cannot be impersonate, or you do not have permission."

Re: SQL problems

templakh - If you're syncing your Act! Contacts with Outlook Contacts you might have duplication issues.

Re: SQL problems

Hello, I think I am moving in the right direction. I used both of the following process

/1/ http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27105/kw/27105

/2/ http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29627/kw/act%20contacts%20outlook%20contacts

No problem syncing the calender (a step forward!). When syncing the contacts, a small window pops up right bottom corner ( a result of /1/  above) and following happens

1. Getting contacts from ACT! (progress bar shows progress)
2. Getting conacts from Outlook...
(progress bar shows progress)
3. Contact Synchornization failed

not sure what is happening.
