I have an ACT7 incident on my laptop that was installed by a former employer. The employer is no longer available and the incident is related to that server. I cannot install ACT 2010 because of this. I can find the Incident, but unable to delete becasue it's looking for the server. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. Please follow the instructions in KB Article 23401 to manually remove the ACT7 instance of SQL 2005. If by chance the version of SQL is 2008, then you would refer instead to KB Article 26993.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
