Hello Community - for my first post here's my issue.
Am running ACT! 2012 Pro Version 14.0.572.0, Hot Fix 2.
I"ve got the database files on a Windows Server 2003R2. None of my users are having issues logging into ACT or performing any funcitons from their workstations. In the application log of the server I am logging the following failures about every 20 - 22 seconds:
Event Type: Failure Audit
Event Source: MSSQL$ACT7
Event Category: Logon
Event ID: 18456
Time: 9:35:44 AM
Login failed for user 'sa'. Reason: Failed to open the explicitly specified database. [CLIENT: <local machine>]
Being that this is an "express" version of SQL I'm not quite sure what managment tools I have available to me (if any) or where to look to correct this situation. As I said ACT seems to be running fine for all users, but I'd sure like to see these failure messages go away.
The only "odd" setting I have noticed is that the SQL Server Reporting Service for this instance doesn't have the logon configured - everything else in this instance is "network" or "local service" configured.
Hints tips and suggestions welcome.
Thanks in advance
