Hi
Would anyone know of a User forum for SAM.
I've started working with the product (soon to purchase) and have found the functionality to be powerful and useful.
If I commit to making SAM part of my business, I would feel more comfortable knowing there are other users worldwide, and finding a 'forum' where we could share ideas, and pool some knowledge.
This might be something Egen are looking to do soon - and that in itself would be ideal

I think it sounds like a good idea. I would contact them directly about starting one up.

Is there anyone familiar with SAM? I am trying to set it up for a customer, however, despite several calls and emails to Don Egen I have not had a suitable reply and no help despite several requests.
I am very disappointed, it looks llke a great product, if only I could gt it to do what it promises...

Hi
We've used it for 2 Years.
It 'simply' works.
Initially there was an issue as we're on Act V16 and the download for SAM was for a Version 17 version
Don made a 'tweak' to the code - then provided a download link to the 'tweaked' SAM code that worked.
What type of issues are you facing and I might possibly be able to help.
eg
1) Are you having install issues
2) Incompatibility issues
or
Are you just trying to understand the product
It took a while before I grasped the concepts - and I sent plenty of Emails to Egen Computing.
I'd be happy to answer any questions you may post (Screen shots of any issues would always help)

Ill tell you this much,, the addons sam, mail merge and web prospect, are a great way to automate your whole crm,, i could write list of pages and pages of what this software could be,,, however ,, the service provided is less than any other addon i have ever aquired,,, i hung in there over the years because i knew what it could do,,, however,,, i have had it with the lacjk of response,,, everythime i upgrade my windows,, or have to uninstall my act version because of a glitch,, it starts a snowball effect of events that roll into having to re install sam,,, and then i have to go through months of diddle freaking around ,,, with the trial versions,, because i can not gbet these people to send me the reactivation codes,, i dont get areply email? call? text? pigeon bird,, anything,, they really suckk,, and i dont say that ever,,, im heading to another way ofrunning my business,,, this is enough,, between act screwing up,,, and spending 40 percent of my time and life re nstalling crap to try top make it work,, and the kicker is that sam/merge/prospect are supposed to help make your system automated,, and the makers of this addon,, obvoiusly do not even come close to applying its many posible functions,,, totally bummed out,, its like buying the best freaking chain saw in the world only to find out the company has now dissapeared and service/parts/suppert,, is non existant,,, the first time you blow a part in your bad rear, saw,,, it will have to go ion the trash,,,!

I think you need to finish posting that we have responded to you repeatedly on a monthly basis. My entire staff has reached out to you in an effort to make this right. We are still working with you as we speak. Many people on this forum know we are reliable and helpful. Our product is very respected as is our staff. When this is resolved, as it always is, I'd appreciate it if you respond accordingly here.
Just like you help people with bad credit, we always help people with bad installs. ALWAYS.

I got a reply within 5-10 minutes of me having blown a gasket here,
Mrs Egan Personally took Immediate attention and Care to solve my Issue with No ifs ands or buts.. ,,
