I am using ACT 2008 Version 10.0
I tried to log in yesterday and got an error that said my network was down. I have all my act stored on my PC hard drive, and am not using a network. I tried everything to get it to work and finally uninstalled and figured I would reinstall. This is a new job for me and a completely new database that I put on this computer. Apparently, my boss had an assistant several years ago who used ACT 2007 for a different database, and now when I try to reinstall it wants my previous sa password. I don't recall needing this when I installed last week, and now I can't install because no one here has a clue what the password was. We have tried everything my bosses thought it might be. Is there a way to get rid of that install/password so I can start from scratch with a new installation?
