Hi,
I began having issues about two weeks ago with Act and other office applications. Act version 21, Office 365.
I am running both Act and Outlook as an Administrator so I can create an email via clicking the contacts email in Outlook. However in Administrator mode Outlook severely curtails its search capabilities which I use daily. Specifically, OL says "Search Performance will be impacted because windows search is turned off in elevated mode".
This was not happening a few weeks ago. I was able to search within OL and also send emails directly from Act.
How do I get this back to normal. Everything I Google says to fix this turn off OL administrator mode, but then I cannot send emails from Act.
Hope you can help....Mike

Both ACT and Outlook should be run in the same mode.
What happens if you Run ACT and Outlook in normal (non administrator) mode?
Do the ACT addins still appear in Outlook when Outlook is run in normal mode?

Thanks, but no luck...tried it this morning.
Turned off Run as Administrator in both, and now Act tells me it cannot initialize email (although OL search works again, but that was expected).
Everything I have read says OL and Act need to be Run as Administrator for the email integration to work.
This is so frustrating.
