I'm a long time user of ACT but just recently upgraded to 2012. With past versions, each day when I showed up at me desktop (computer and ACT left on overnight), ACT had a prompt on the screen to rollover the previous day's activities, calls etc. On 2012, I can't seem to get this to happen without shutting the program down and starting it back up. I've gone into preferences and set it up to automatically rollover, but it doesn't do it if I leave ACT running all night. Any suggestions or is this not possible using 2012. Thanks! mark

What you have noticed is by design. The ACT! database will have to be closed/opened for it to initiate the roll-over routine. At this time, there is no other way to initiate the roll-over routine.
If you would like to submit this as a feature request, that can be done through the Share Your Ideas forum. Once submitted, other members of the Community can comment and vote (kudos) on the idea.
