Restore a Database without Admin privileges?

HI Folks,

Interesting problem I have...

I have a backup of an Act! Pro 2012 in the original zip file. It's been stored away for about 6 months and the original server has since been blown away. I have built a new server and need to restore the database to it. And yes, here it comes...I forgot the username/password that has the admin privileges to do the restore. According to the knowledge base, I can check the audit trails in actdiag to see if I can discover the username/password. That's great if the database was attached already.

Does anyone know how to just attach (not necessarily access) the database to the SQL server so I can at least see the audit trails (if any)?

Thanks all...appreciate the help.

You should reach out to a local CC who can take care of this for you.  Most have access to tools that can "fix" this for you.
