Yes, you can using these steps:
- In ACT!, go to File/Open Database
- On the Open screen, change the Files Type at the bottom from .PAD to .ADF
- Browse to and open the .ADF file. Should go through a process of reconnecting the database to SQL, then open the database
Note: If you do not have the [database name]-database files folder for your database, then a new default one will be created. However, you will lose all of your custom layouts, queries, reports, templates and all attachments.
