Resizing multiple fields on form using properties

I am designing a form and trying to get all the field to the same height.

Properties Windows allows only setting the height of one filed at a time.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to set the height of multiple fields?

Thanks

Re: Resizing multiple fields on form using properties

If you hold down CTRL + click on the fields you'd like to select, you can select multiple fields.

If you'd like to make them all the same height, once you've selected them, simply go to the Format menu at the top and then choose Make Same Size > Height.

Hope this helps!

Re: Resizing multiple fields on form using properties

Thanks for the reply

I am trying to make all fields height 18

Using the "Same _ Height functions makes them all the height of the tallest..

It would be best if you could do this from Properties but apparently ACT doesn't allow setting multiply field sizes in properties - one at time

As I type this may have thought of a work around- why is it act always requires work arounds for what seems like straight forward functions -

  • if I highlight all fields drag the height shorter,
  • make one field the required height,
  • highlight all fields and use Make same height function

Re: Resizing multiple fields on form using properties

After selecting all the fields to resize, click on the field with the desired height to set it as the master field.
