I had to add some users with permission to the database and so had to change the SA password so I could add these users. I saw a previous forum post to reset the SA account to it's default. I believe the link to the solution was broken. Is this documentation still available? I am using Act Pro V18 with a shared database on a VM of Windows Server 2012 r2.

Please refer to the following kb articles:
http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/37665 (Download the SQLUsers.bat file from the bottom of the page)
http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/36794 (Download the ResetSQL.bat file from the bottom of the page)
Right click SQLUsers.bat and run as administrator, following the prompts.
Right click ResetSQL.bat and run as administrator, answer 'y' to both prompts.
Confirm that actdiag will launch successfully.
Thanks

After running the items from Karl when running ACTDIAG make sure you run it as administrator by right clicking on the icon and selecting run as administrator.
